The SG8 is a great example of how Savage Gear have redesigned these wheels from scratch without using technical details “off the bar”. This reel is a powerhouse with numerous features consisting of a strong, stiff but lightweight housing and rotor made of graphite reinforced composite CRC. An excellent long-lasting service life is guaranteed thanks to a sealed friction control brake system that uses carbon fibre washers that provide unsurpassed stiffness, smooth running and braking power. Impressive 10 + 1 stainless steel ball bearings (including two ball bearings from Japan) ensure reliable running even under heavy use. In addition, the SG8 spinning reel has numerous features such as a T-shaped line clip, a non-slip spool that eliminates the need for lining with monofilament line when using braided cords and an ergonomic EVA crank, these technical innovations are responsible for handling it just fun. This reel incorporates all the expertise of Savage Gear to ensure that this product will quickly find many fans. Delivery Time
