In our Bude and Launceston stores the restaurants, cafes and car washes will be unfortunately closed. Homeleigh Hair & Beauty in Launceston will also be closed during this period.

The Angling Centre in Launceston will also be closed, although a click and collect system will be put in place for customers who would like to order angling items over the phone or by email. The Angling Centres contacts are:
01566771876 or [email protected]

All other areas in both Launceston & Bude will be open. Crediton is open as normal.

We do ask customers visiting our stores to please adhere to the government guidelines, in keeping 2 metres apart from other customers and follow one way systems where applicable. As well as this, where possible, we do ask that only one member of each household to enter our stores at one time.

We will update our website and social medias with new information during this time.

Soft Play

Currently the soft play areas in the Bude and Launceston stores remain closed. The outdoor play area in Launceston is open for use.

Track and Trace

In our Restaurants and Cafe’s, we are taking customer details to ensure we comply with the UK Governments Track and Trace programme and have been doing so since our restaurants and cafes have re-opened. We are required to take the name, number and where you are sitting of 1 person in your group. We hold this data for 28 days and then destroy the information. The information gathered is ONLY used if we are contacted by the UK government Track and Trace service and is never used for any other purpose (marketing etc). Any questions regarding this please contact us.

If we are contacted by the UK Track and Trace service, we will provide the necessary details, if you are then contacted you will be required to give the contact details for the other people sitting at your table.

1st August – Eat Out to Help Out

We are pleased to announce that our Restaurants are now open. We are also pleased to announce we are taking part in the ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme which entitles you to 50% OFF food and non-alcoholic drinks in our Restaurants on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout August. There is a limit of £10 discount per person and the discount does not apply to takeaway orders. We have put a number of processes in place to ensure your visit is a safe and enjoyable one including:

– Less tables, spaced out with partitions to ensure social distancing is possible at all times

– Hand sanitising facilities throughout the garden centre and restaurant

– All staff are wearing face masks / visors. Also screens at customer facing positions such as the tills and counter.

13th May – We are open in all 3 branches.

From 13th May we have re-opened our Launceston, Bude and Crediton stores (all stores will be trading during their normal hours of operation). This is in line with the latest government guidance. We have put safety measures in place and are endeavoring to be Covid Secure throughout the stores. Please can ALL customers help us to maintain social distancing and remain 2 metres away from one another as well as staff within the garden centre. We will be monitoring the amount of customers on site and may need to keep you waiting to come in to the stores depending on customer numbers. We ask that if it is possible to come on your own, you do and occasionally we may ask large groups or families not to enter to help keep customer number to a minimum. Our cafes and restaurants are not open at present and we await further government guidance on opening fully.

Our safety procedures are being assessed daily and customer number policies and store layout may change to achieve the highest standards of safety.

We hope to see you all again soon but we would like to encourage you to buy online from us or phone us to arrange a delivery or collection to help minimize risks to both Homeleigh staff and our customers.

Latest update from Homeleigh – last updated 23rd March at 10pm:

Following the most recent government announcement we will be closing Bude & Crediton with immediate effect. Our Launceston branch will be mainly closed but we will be keeping our Food Hall open and adding pet and aquatic foods and treatments to this area.

We will try to cater for as many daily essentials as we can but obviously have to follow government guidelines to the best of our ability. If you have a delivery booked with us this week we will be in touch to arrange fulfilment of essential items. We will not be doing any new local deliveries.

Please everyone stay safe and only visit us if it is essential. We thank you for your custom and look forward to getting through this and seeing you all again soon.

I’d also like to thank the Homeleigh team in all 3 stores for their support during these difficult times.
