Oase BioPlus Internal Aquarium Filters are designed to be compact and to fit discreetly and unobtrusively into the corner of your aquarium. Everything you need is included and the unit is easily mounted to your aquarium via the attached suction cups. Available in 3 sizes to suit aquariums up to 200 litres they offer the efficiency, reliability and quality that Oase have already become well known for with their popular pond product range.

The BioPlus also offers other benefits and innovations such as an EasyClean mechanism which allows the filter section to be removed for cleaning while the main pump unit remains attached to the inside of the aquarium. The filter section attaches and detaches easily via magnetic fastenings (no tools needed). The separate filter modules then easily detach individually for easy cleaning or replacement of the filter foams and filter fleeces contained within.

The integrated pump unit of the BioPlus features a variable diffuser nozzle and ‘spray bar’ which disperses the output flow in a variety of configurations (see video). The spray bar (see small holes at the top of the pump unit), cause the water surface to be broken in multiple places which helps to add more oxygen to the water than with a single outlet. As well as ensuring good surface movement and enhanced oxygen enrichment, the jet effect of the spray bar combined along with the central outlet nozzle helps to prevent the formation of biofilm.
