The BioMaster range are quality external aquarium filters from trusted German brand Oase. Renowned for years throughout the pond industry for high quality, robust, reliable products, Oase now bring that exact same design ethos to their brand new range of aquarium products.

BioMaster can be located discreetly outside the aquarium (in base unit cabinets for instance), and are suitable for aquariums between 250 and 600 Litres in size, with high fish stocks. Engineered for reliability and longevity, they also include a multi-stage filtration process and innovative cleaning features. The EasyClean pre-filter module can be easily removed for cleaning without the need to dis-assemble the rest of the filter. As well as 2 mechanical foam filtration stages there is also a biological stage that uses Oase’s highly effective Hel-X 13 biomedia – so called because it has up to 13% increased biological settlement area compared to other common biomedia.

Other innovations include a shut off mechanism and safety lock, which prevent water from escaping when performing maintenance such as removing the pre-filter module for cleaning. A priming button allows effective water intake for a faster start-up, and there is a flow regulator lever located at the front of the filter for easy access.
