As your strawberry plants start to develop fruit it’s time to think about protecting your precious crop from birds because we are not the only ones who think they’re delicious!

Place bamboo canes or stakes around your strawberry patch and drape a fine mesh or net over them to fully cover your plants. Secure the net at the bottom and make sure there are no gaps that birds can squeeze through.
