HELP OUR HEDGEHOGS - IT’S FEEDING TIME

Hedgehogs usually start to hibernate from November or December, therefore Autumn and early winter is an important time for them to build up their body fat reserves to get them through the long hibernation period.

You can lend a helping hand by encouraging more insects into your garden through the use of log piles, planting native plants in your garden and building a ‘bug hotel’, which you can find out more about on the RSPB website.
