If you’re growing citrus plants such as lemons and oranges, it’s time to start feeding them. Citrus require regular feeding and at this time of year a high nitrogen food suits them best.

If you’re interested in growing your own citrus fruit, the trees generally need a minimum night time temperature of 10°C so you’ll need a warm, sunny spot – a humid greenhouse or conservatory is ideal as long as temperatures don’t get too high. Also keep your trees away from radiators and water regularly, especially throughout the spring and summer.
